Dear Parents/Guardians,


We are pleased to announce Granville Central School District will be offering a Summer Academy for all students entering grades Pre K- 7 for the 2022-2023 school year. Please complete the form posted on the website or here (if reading an electronic version) Commitment Form to indicate your commitment to your child’s participation in the academic-based program. 


The program will run from 8:00-11:00 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting July 6, 2022 through August 11, 2022. The Summer Academy will be held at our Mary J Tanner Primary Building. 


Transportation will be provided.  Parents may also drop off and pick up students. There is no Transportation if your child is attending as a Pre-K student.


The Summer Academy will focus on NYS Next Generation Learning Standards for ELA and Math. The goal of this academic program is to provide learning opportunities that focus on remediation, maintenance and strengthening of skill sets through direct instruction and review. These activities will reinforce reading, writing and math skills. The program is designed to help students maintain or increase their current academic levels. Please indicate below whether your child will be attending.  Please return this form OR complete the online Commitment Form by May 6th, 2022.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the MJT main office.
