Step 1) Please use our new online sports registration system on Aktivate.com.

Here is the link to the new (2025-2026) online sports registration on Aktivate.com.

Create an account once (select "login" to begin) and then continue to register your 7 - 12 student for a specific sport before the start of a new season. Please do so before the first team practice. Thank you!

Here are instructions for creating a free account on Aktivate and registering your student for a sport.

Step 2) Please attend the pre-season Parent-Player-Coach Meeting.

Each season, the school hosts a pre-season meeting. This a great time to meet your coach, ask questions and understand how each team works. The fall sports meeting is on Thursday, August 14th at 5:30 pm at Granville Jr/Sr High. Here is the district calendar event for this meeting to add to your calendar.

Step 3) Free physicals on Thursday, August 7th, by appointment.

If needed, please contact Nurse Hover right away to reserve a time for a free physical to have on file in order to play sports. Here is the direct link to the district calendar with details. Hand in sport physical forms to Nurse Hover at the Jr/Sr High.

Step 4) Team First Practice

Here is the link to the fall sports letter with team start time. This was mailed home as well.

Step 5) Team Communications

Teams will be communicating with players and families through the "Rooms" feature in the Granville CSD app.

• In the app, navigate to the "Rooms" feature in the bottom of the app.

• Login with your email or phone number associated with your household.

• Then turn ON notifications in the settings.

• Students should do the same and login with their GCSD email.

Fall Soccer, Football and Cheer - Follow the Youth Soccer League on Facebook here. Follow Youth Football on Facebook here.

Winter Basketball and Cheer - Youth Basketball takes place in partnership with Granville CSD school gyms. Sign up flyers are sent home to Elementary students.

Spring Little League - Softball and Baseball for grades K-7 take place at the Little League Fields in Granville, NY. Here is the link to the Little League Facebook page.
