Santa's Workshop is the District Office today! Operation Santa pick up is today 8am to 10am with drive up service for the 47 families, with 108 students in our District combined, that are being supported this year with clothing and gifts. Community Indoor Walking Program Granville school district residents are invited to use the safe and warm hallways of Granville JRSR High for winter walking. When: December 4, 2024 - April 11, 2025 Days: Monday - Friday (When School is in session) Hours: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Fee: None How it Works: This program is open to District residents. Participants may register outside the Main Office. Walking is available when school is in session and will not be open on school holidays and vacations. The schedule may change based on school activities and will be posted on the school website. During inclement weather, we request that walkers bring a change of shoes to walk indoors. Mrs. Duval's 6th Grade class visited Ms. Cahan's Veterinary Science Lab at the Jr.Sr. High last week! Each week Ms. Cahan welcomes classes from Granville Elementary to walk over and learn about the Veterinary Sciences. Students love it!

Let's Make a Scene! That's the @AdirondackStudios way, a local company that builds set pieces for movies, museums and more. Ms. Monroe, one of our amazing art teachers at Granville Junior-Senior High, took 19 students on a field trip to learn about the many different types of creative careers available at @AdirondackStudios, in Argyle, NY. Ms. Monroe says, "It was a great experience seeing all of the departments working together on big projects for big companies. The departments included painting, digital creation, accounting, drafting, fabrication, welding, carpentry, textiles, and many others. They were working on some large projects for well known theme parks located in Florida and California." Thank you Adirondack Studios for hosting our Granville Horde! And thank you to Ms. Monroe for going above and beyond! At Granville CSD students can begin earning credit towards vocational and college career paths while in High School and prepare for real-world success. Send your student to guidance to find out more and start making plans as early as 7th grade.
